A rousing three to six piece acoustic band performing old time dance tunes and songs. Mandolin and vocalist, Charles Hardy III, is a professor in the Department of History at West Chester University. Active in researching and developing original versions of all but forgotten songs and tunes from Pennsylvania, the Pickles recently recorded three songs from the archives for Charlie's birthday.
